Queer ear for Pride Night

Simone Denny, right, will be part of the Cincinnati LGBT Center's Pride Night at Kings Island on Friday, October 1.

Denny, who rose to fame as the singer for Love, Inc., is best known for singing “All Things (Just Keep Getting Better)," the theme for Queer Eye for the Straight Guy on Bravo.

She also appeared at Fashion Cares-Toronto in late May, where she performed with Patti LaBelle, shown in the photo above.

Denny will not only perform at Pride Night at Kings Island, she will also be one of the judges for the finals of the Cincinnati LGBT Center's Island Idol contest, with the winner receiving a Carnival cruise and airfare. Joining her as judges will be Cincinnati City Council member Laketa Cole and Q102 morning show co-host Jenn.

"When I heard that Simone was available, I jumped at the opportunity to bring her to Pride Night," said marketing and advertising chair Troy Henson. "Simone fits very well with our 'Island of Friends' theme this year."
